Another local roofing company failed to isolate and properly fix the root of a water leak when they installed our new roof in 2021. Acme quickly diagnosed the problem, proposed a detailed solution which they reviewed with me and my husband, and sent two very able crew members, Andrew and Hunter, to correct the problem. They ended up taking siding and shingles off and installed the necessary ice and water shield and proper step flashing that the other roofer had neglected to do. The entire team (initial estimator, team supervisor and crew members) were professional throughout the whole process and made us feel that we were in good, capable hands.  Andrew and Hunter were knowledgeable, communicative, efficient and extremely pleasant to have on site. I highly recommend this company and only wish we had had them do our  roofing job initially!

Nick was great helping us walk through what needed to be done, helping us understand and work with the insurance company and giving very solid referrals in areas that they did not handle. Decking repair or replace

There are several factors to consider when deciding whether to repair or replace your deck:

Age of the deck: If your deck is more than 10-15 years old and showing signs of wear, it may be more cost-effective to replace it rather than continuing to make repairs.

Extent of the damage: If the damage is limited to a small area of the deck, it is usually more cost-effective to repair it. However, if the damage is widespread or the deck is severely degraded, it may be more cost-effective to replace it.

Type of decking material: Some types of decking materials, such as wood or composite, are easier and less expensive to repair than others, such as brick or stone.

Cost of repairs: In some cases, the cost of repairs may be nearly as much as the cost of a new deck. In this case, it may make more sense to invest in a new deck rather than continuing to pay for repairs.
